Draft Pharma Policy 2017- Creates Un-Employement and Possible Shut Down of Indian Pharma Industry

To,

Honourable Anant Kumar Jee,
Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers
Govt. of India.

Subject: Draft Pharma Policy 2017 issue by your Ministry without considering the effects on the MSME / SSI Pharma Industry and Promoters / Marketing Companies.

Respected Sir,

With this representation on the proposed Draft Pharma Policy 2017, we stake holders of SSI / MSME and Marketers of Pharma Formulations request you to delete the proposal of:-

1. Loan License and Phasing out of Marketing Companies as through this proposal huge un-employment at various levels in the Industry shall occur because 40% of the Industry will get Phased out because of the above. It will further result in Bank Defaulting as well as huge shortage of medicines. And shall only promote MNC’s which is against the basis of your Govt. Policy.

2. BA/BE Proposal for Existing Industry.

3. One Company – One ‘Drug – One Brand Name – One Price’ as Prices are controlled by NPPA on molecule basis, thus we request you to not to bind the Pharma Sector on production matter as we all inspite of API Industry not controlled by your ministry are honouring all rules & regulations of  Medicine Price Control.

Sir, we request you to please re-consider the above policy on the ground realities of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers / Marketers so that they can exist in a productive manner & contribute to the National well being, as also generate employment opportunities at various levels and could also avoid a situation of Bank Loan Defaulters.

As we all agree and are already dedicated for providing Quality Medicine at affordable price to the Indian Public including us.
Through this representation and Link Submission we pray to you to safeguard Healthcare Industry in India.

Thanks & Looking forward for your favorable response.
